Hole Punch Valentine's Day Craft

We love and EASY art and craft activity. Something SIMPLE. Something I can throw together last minute - because I'm terrible at organising things. And if you're anything like me, this is a PERFECT Valentine's Day Activity for you and the kids.

Make these cute cards to give to your kids, your partner or their friends at school.

All you need is:

  • Paper- we stuck with red, pink and white - and chucked in a navy blue for some extra zing, but who said they are the only colours that you can use?! Go crazy!
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Hole Punches

We folded some paper and cut them into heart shapes - save the scraps of paper!

Use the hole punches to cut out any letters you want to put on the card in the scraps of paper - obviously different coloured paper to the background to give it some dimension. We wrote I LOVE YOU and then used a hole punch to cut out the shapes around the edges (by we I mean our Clever Kid - which is why we have a dove and a butterfly on our card - but yay for creativity!!).

We also layered some hearts over each other, used scraps and punched some stars and hearts and glued them down on a folded piece of cardboard to make a lovely gift card for your loved one!

We had lots of fun this afternoon making these cards - and our Clever Kid is so excited to take his creations to his friends at school.

If you need any of the items required to make these gorgeous cards you can find them at the links above.

Happy Crafting!
