General Questions

Of course! All our toys are international brands, and they ALL meet Australian and European Standards which means that they do not use any toxic paints or finishes. Please follow safety guidelines to ensure safe play

Short answer is - no. When we started at CleverStuff in 2015 we only stocked wooden toys - but as we have grown and our store has evolved we have added a huge art and craft range, handwriting tools and eco-friendly dolls. While many items are still wooden, we have grown since the start to offer a wider range of resources. But, we will never have toys with batteries!

Of course when you invest in high quality toys, you want to make sure they last and are taken care of. This means you'll need to clean them. Here are some of the main points to stick to.

Never submerge in water as even sealed toys are not designed to withstand excess water, and with general use, a quick qipe down with warm soapy water and a cloth, or even an antibacterial wipe, is enough.

Use natural products where possible.

Once you've wiped them down, pop them in the sun to help fight even more germs! Plus, it will ensure any water drops dry completely.

We are retailers of a huge range of international brands. Each of these brands distribute their toys globally and the country of manufacture varies from brand to brand. We stock toys made in China, Indonesia, Thailand, PRC and many more. We do not manufacture any of our toys. If you would like to know where a particular product is made, please reach out and we can assist further. 

Absolutely! Our warehouse is based in the beautiful Hawkesbury area of Sydney. We are here Monday to Friday, 8am to 3pm - but can be here outside those hours as well! Get in touch to come in - we'd love to meet you.

Shipping & Delivery

If you order before 1pm we strive to dispatch it SAME DAY - unless your order includes pre ordered items (see below)! All orders are processed as quickly as possible on business days. You will receive an email once your order is shipped with all tracking information included. 

If you were not home at the time the parcel was attempted to be delivered you can contact the courier to arrange a re-delivery or find out the collection point if it has been left for you. 

If your order does not get collected or a re-delivery is not arranged in a timely manner, your order may be returned to us. If you would like the order resent to you there is a $9.95 delivery fee for any subsequent shipping on the same order. If you would prefer to cancel your order that can be arranged, less the shipping costs. 

Orders under $250 incur a $9.95 shipping fee

Orders over $250 are FREE (excluding bulky orders).

Caculated shipping will be used for orders with a Bulky item in it.

On the product page of the bulky toy it will say DUE TO THE BIG AND BULKY SIZE OF THIS ITEM OUR FLAT RATE / FREE SHIPPING DOES NOT APPLY. 


If the toy does not have this in the discripion the $9.95 shipping rate applys.


At checkout there is a place to enter in your discount code on the right hand side of the page if on desktop, or if you're on a mobile, it's in the drop down menu at the top of the page. It will recalculate the order value for you. Select your shipping and then proceed to payment.

If you have any problems please feel free to get in touch with us so we can help you out as code can not be applied after an order is proceesed! 

If your order includes PRE-ORDER items we will hold your order until all items are available for shipping - this is usually within 7 days. We DO NOT drop ship any items. Pre-order is available for items that are on order with our suppliers to allow you to save on shipping if you're happy to wait a few extra days before dispatch.

Contact us! Sometimes things sell out, but we either have an order on the way or can easily get it again for you! Sometimes we can't, but we will always try. So please give us a call so we can be sure to look for you.

Please be sure to include a note in the comment section (the page before you pay for your purchase) so we can be sure to remove all price tags and the tax invoice is emailed directly to the email address you registered with us instead of being included. If you miss this box please call us on 1300 552 500 as soon as possible so we can try and remove any invoices before it gets shipped

Yes - you can use your credit card to make your purchase and have the gifts delivered to Australian addresses.

We've tried to make gift selection as easy as possible with our birthday ideas. Lots of products to choose from, so we know it can be difficult! If you're still stuck then email or call us on 1300552500 and we'd be glad to make suggestions.

We offer secure payment through Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, Amex, Shopify Payments and PayPal. We also have AfterPay, ZipPay and PayPal Pay in 4 as our buy now, pay later options


We have a no fuss returns policy. If you are not happy with your purchase for any reason you can return it to us within 30 days of the date of purchase for a full refund of the purchase price (no refund on postage). Please ensure all items are returned in the original packaging. You are responsible for the postage costs of returning the item to us. You can read our full return information here

Tell us! We check our products before dispatch to make sure they are not damaged. We also take great care to wrap them carefully. If however, damage occurs during the delivery process please contact us for a replacement or refund.
